I have a position working in a very luxurious office in New York City. This position is Monday thru Friday, no weekends, and fully paid benefits. Sounds too good to be true....well it`s not!
This New York prestigious jewelry company is seeking an individual who has knowledge of jewelry (or working with some sort of technical service with small objects), quality control , testing products for accuracy and knowledge of spare parts. This is an excellent opportunity for a person looking to work in a very upscale environment and looking for a career.
* Visually inspects serviced/repaired jewelry and make sure it`s are working accurately/properly. This includes operating high-quality control equipment.
* Handle a variety of tasks in processing of repair services, and to retrieve files of old parts when needed
COORDINATION
* Assigning work repairs to proper repair person when necessary
* Organize daily and weekly work schedules as to job completion. Assures smooth workflow
* Answers all questions regarding status of jobs. Understands and works with statistics including quantitative as well as qualitative
SPARE PARTS - RELATED TASKS
* Responsible for entering orders, allocating and picking parts from inventory when necessary
* Responsible for inventory and distribution of spare parts
REQUIREMENTS
* 2+ years work experience with jewelry or small objects
* Very detailed-oriented, organized, and motivated
* Team player
This position includes fully paid benefits, 3 weeks vacation and bonus.
